# Yellowdog Updater, Modified

## TL;DR
|
|
|
|
Global configuration file at `/etc/yum/yum.conf`.<br/>
|
|
Repositories `.repo` files reside under `/etc/yum.repos.d/`.<br/>
|
|
Configuration files use the INI format. **Some** options in the repository definition override the global settings for
|
|
YUM.
