+
+## TL;DR
+
+```shell
+# update the repositories
+zypper refresh
+
+# search for a package
+zypper search nmap
+
+# install a package
+zypper install parallel
+```
+
+## Gotchas
+
+Zypper does not have for now a way to list the content of an installed package. Use [rpm] for this:
